The Tooth Fairies provide early access to care and help establish better oral hygiene habits early on. Our services include an interactive oral hygiene presentation, dental assessments, fluoride treatments, sealants, and diet advice. The Tooth Fairies have been serving the community since 2002.
Our goal is to prevent kids from having to go through unnecessary dental treatments like fillings, crowns, extractions and sedation dentistry. The Tooth Fairies have worked with the Tacoma Pierce County Health Dept., the Boys & Girls Club, Greentrike, and multiple school districts.
Adisa Salaka,
RDH, BSDH
Program Director Adisa graduated from the dental hygiene program at Columbia Basin College in 2010 and later received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Oregon Institute of Tech. She has been an active member of her local dental hygiene component and has served on the board as the President, Treasurer, and newsletter editor. Adisa is a firm believer in giving back to the community and has volunteered at multiple free dental days, including the Seattle King County Clinic.
Her favorite part of being the tooth fairy is creating positive core memories for kids that transcend into positive dental experiences for their future. Itβs no secret that the dental office can be intimidating, but being the tooth fairy allows her to form bonds and trusting relationships with each child so that they feel comfortable.
